Absolutely! All of our products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

What are your makeup brushes made from?

Each brush comprises bristles, a ferrule, and a handle.

Orders & Payment

How can I check the status of my order?

Once your order is dispatched, we will send you an email with tracking details. You can also check your order status at any time by logging into your customer account and viewing your order history.

Can I change or cancel my order after it's been placed?

We process orders quickly, so please double-check your order before completing your purchase. If you have any concerns, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to help you.

Can I return or exchange my order?

We do not currently offer refunds or exchanges due to a change of mind. However, we’d love to hear your feedback and continue the conversation—feel free to reach out to us at hello@theskinwardrobe.com.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Afterpay, Apple Pay, Poli and Gift Card.

All credit card transactions are securely processed by Shopify Payments.

Do you offer Afterpay as a payment option?

Yes, we offer e-gift cards! They make the perfect gift for someone special. You can easily purchase and send them online.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship from?

We are based in New Zealand and ship worldwide using trusted courier services.

How long will it take for my order to be dispatched?

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 24 hours on business days.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Free shipping is available when you meet the following spend thresholds:

  • New Zealand: Free shipping on orders over $100 NZD; otherwise, a flat rate of $7 NZD applies.

  • Australia: Free shipping on orders over $100 AUD; otherwise, a flat rate of $10 AUD applies.

  • Rest of the World: Free shipping on orders over $100 USD or €100; otherwise, a flat rate of $15 USD or €15 applies.
What are the estimated delivery times?

New Zealand: 1–3 business days (allow an extra day for rural addresses).

Australia: 7–14 business days (may take longer for rural areas).

Rest of the World: 10–15 business days, depending on location and customs processing.

Will I receive tracking for my order?

A tracking link will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched.

Do I need to sign for my delivery?

By default, all orders are sent using a non-signature courier service. Please ensure:

  • Your shipping address is correct at checkout, as we cannot update it after dispatch.
  • There is a safe place for your order to be left, as we are not responsible for theft once it has been delivered.
Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?

For international orders, your country may charge customs taxes or duties upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please check with your local customs agency before placing an order. We cannot provide refunds for orders where duties/taxes remain unpaid.

What should I do if my order is delayed?

We do our best to ensure timely delivery, but factors such as customs processing, flight schedules, or courier delays may impact transit times. If you are concerned about your order, please contact the courier provider directly. The estimated timeframes above are guidelines only, and we cannot be responsible for delays caused by third parties.
